Welcome to the West End! The Grays River Valley lies in southwestern Washington State centering at Grays Bay and running along the north shore of the Columbia River across from Astoria, Oregon. It runs from KM Mountain to Naselle, and like most places in western Washington, it is a land threaded with rivers and streams with plentiful fishing. It is an area that founded itself in fishing, timber, and dairy farming, and today still includes many farmers and fisherman as well as artists, ecologists, educators, law enforcement officers, and no small number of Lutheran churches. Peruse these pages for a little news, a little information, and a little bit of history, too.
