Community of Faith and Strength

28-December-2011
This time of year many of us contemplate the future. We may ask: "What is my path? What will the future hold? Is there hope for a better future? Where to begin?"
Philippians 4:13 points the way with the words: "I can do all things through him who strengthens me."
At Grays River United Methodist Church we are a family in faith walking together with Jesus pointing the way. In him, we are strengthened to find the paths he has made for each one of us and for our church family as a community and in the community.
What will our future hold in this New Year?
We will continue to reach out to our neighbors as we welcome folks to our Sunday services at 10 a.m. We hope you will make plans to join us this summer for outdoor worship around the campfire and for our Vacation Bible School for children with a camper's theme.
And while the warmth of summer is months away, we will be warm in our sanctuary as we sing together and join in fellowship in Christ.
Do you know someone who needs a helping hand? Let us know. We are happy to visit with a basket of grace (some basic food and other items) and offer of prayer and hope.
If you are looking for your path we invite you to visit. We are people of faith and strength in God's love. Our door is open and you are welcome. Remember, we can do all things through him who strengthens us.
Blessings to you in this New Year!
Pastor Pam
