January Bulbs

Spotted at the Grays River Church on Sunday was this pot of sprouting bulbs. It is a mystery to me whether they are tulips or daffodils, but I am pretty sure there are many out there who can tell the difference.

From my own non-botanical point of view, I am hoping that this means Spring can't be too far away. I'm thinking with all of February still in front of us, if the flowers seem optimistic about the weather, well, I will too. And, should it storm from tomorrow until April, there really isn't much prettier than tulips and daffodils blooming through a late winter snow-fall. So I will be ready to enjoy the flowers either way.
