The Rosburg Community Club will be hosting their annual fall Bazaar this Saturday, November 13th, between 10:00am and 3pm at Rosburg Hall. A Chicken Dinner lunch will be served for $6.50 including baked chicken, salads, dessert and coffee or punch.
Proceeds from the lunch will go primarily to fund the upkeep of Rosburg Hall, but proceeds will also fund the Ralph McGough Scholarship. The McGough Scholarship, named after a former principal of Rosburg School, has in the past been awarded to a high-schooler of merit from the West End.

The Rosburg Community Club offers two chicken dinners a year—the other in April—but the fall Bazaar is by far the biggest. Says Cheryl Dutcher of Rosburg, "it's the big one around here." Dutcher explains that in addition to "delicious, delicious chicken and salads" there is "a hall full of Christmas and gift items."
Barbara Rose, a member of the Rosburg Club, anticipates a successful event. "We have a lot of vendors coming," says Rose. There will be artists and craftspersons and a lot of "homemade stuff" including homemade baked goods for sale. Comments Rose, when it comes to what's on offer this year at the Bazaar: "there's everything."
